Emblematic Entrance Park

Project: Emblematic Entrance

Type: Cultural project

Areas: 34,000 m² (34,000 sq. m)

Located at the entrance to the city in a space that used to be used as a rubble dump, a large public space was designed with a monumental water reservoir with a series of fountains that surround a vertical marimba on which a video mapping is projected that tells the story of the marimba. Following the circular design, Ceiba trees were planted, which are endemic to the area. The two sections of the park are connected by a pedestrian bridge. The park has a sound system so that the marimba can be heard from the afternoon when the sun goes down and the people of the city take the opportunity to visit this space that has become a favorite of locals and visitors.
