Oak House

Project: Oak House

Type: Residential

Location: Edo Mex, Mexico

Areas: 2,500 m² (2,500 sq.m.)

With a basic material palette of stone floors in the social area and wood floors in the private area, lambrines, lattices and wooden pergolas were designed to give warmth and comfort to the interior. The foyer allows an imposing view of the living room with double height and a view of the lake. For the furnishings, Mexican designers selected pieces in wood, steel and textiles with generous proportions that respond to the scale of the house's spaces. The art curation includes Mexican pieces and crafts. The result is a house in which architecture and interior merge to generate a dialogue with the mountain and the lake.
