Casa del Norte

Project: Sierra Fría House

Type: Residential

Location: CDMX, Mexico

Areas: 460 m²

The project was developed in two bays; a two-story bay where the foyer, office and bedrooms are located and another one and a half story bay where the living room, dining room and kitchen are located. This allows for a play of heights and hierarchy in the spaces, in addition to the fact that they all take advantage of the view of the garden and light through large windows. The social area has apparent concrete walls facing the street which gives privacy and avoids the noise of cars. The floors are polished concrete and wood in the bedrooms. A monumental access door and large wooden lambrin give warmth to the space. The selection of furniture and the curatorship of the art have the same contemporary Mexican language.
