Ceiba House

Project: Ceiba House

Type: Residential

Location: CDMX, Mexico

Areas: 2,100 sq. m.

The architectural party consists of five offset volumes with wide walls that provide play to the volumetry. The design favors views and light towards the perimeter garden and creates different interior environments throughout the day, allowing light to enter. The house has three levels; the services are located in the basement, the public and social area on the first floor and the private bedroom area upstairs. A series of terraces and balconies allow for transitional spaces throughout the project. The house has spaces with height and half and double height to give hierarchy to the lobby, living room and office. The play of volumes gives movement to the project, which develops organically through an integral palette of stone, plaster, steel and wood overhangs on the facade.
